St. Cloud needs more safe, designated queer spaces; particularly movement spaces. These classes are pay what you can and open to all who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.
What’s different about an LGBTQIA+ yoga class as compared to any other yoga class? Instructed by a member of the LGBTQIA+ community; mindful, gender neutral language and a safe, consent driven environment to build community with other queer folx.
We hold stress and trauma in the body; this is a space for spiritual growth and healing through movement, relaxation, and celebration of who you are
These classes are on a "pay what you can" basis. Whether that's $17, $7, or $0 - you are welcome.

Yoga & Meditation
Meditation is widely known for helping us to better understand our own minds. We can use meditation to decrease stress, train our focus, reduce symptoms of anxiety/depression and generally increase peace and calm in our every day life. This class offers a guided meditation to open and close class; the instructor will guide you in a variety of meditation techniques including focused attention, breath exercises, visualization, and mantras. This class also guides students in Yin yoga asanas or postures. The asanas are held for longer periods of time with steady focused breathing; this improves flexibility, releases fascia, improves joint mobility, and reduces stress/anxiety. An excellent way to start your day with clarity, calm, and happiness.
Hatha yoga classes use the breath to create a link between the body and the mind. Hatha classes build flexibility and strength while minimizing the chance of injury. This well-rounded style balances and opens the body. You will learn to still the mind and be present in the moment. In addition to more flexibility and strength, a hatha yoga practice will lead to all the other usual benefits of yoga--reduced stress, lower blood pressure, more energy and better sleep.
Vinyasa Flow involves synchronizing the breath with a continuous flow of yoga asanas. Linking your breath and movement simultaneously calms and energizes your mind, body and spirit, while creating a moving meditation in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Students of all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners, are welcomed and empowered to explore and discover in a mindful and centered way what their bodies are capable of in a safe, non-competitive environment. Classes will be tailored to your needs and you will be invited throughout your practice to find and honor your edge.
